West Bengal plans ways to boost tourism infrastructure

Indranil Sen, West Bengal State Tourism Minister, told the Assembly that the West Bengal government is planning ways to improve tourism infrastructure in the Sundarbans. Currently, the state of West Bengal offers a range of tours from the city to the Sundarbans for travelers. The government has also introduced ferries to the jungles. Reports indicate that the West Bengal government was eager to launch houseboat services in the Sundarbans within the next six months. It would be very similar to that of Kashmir.
