Torremolinos will be featured in Canal Sur’s travel television program, Destino Andalucía, a program that focuses on heritage and culture, as well as the scenic beauty and gastronomy of different towns and villages in the region.

The production company, Conecta Cluster, was in town over the weekend filming iconic sites, such as Casa de Los Navajas, Torre Pimentel, Plaza San Miguel, Plaza Costa del Sol, Gardens botanical Molino de Inca and the Parque Bateria, among others

The team also interviewed residents, tourist guides and people who are experts in the various topics related to the city.

The program will also highlight the city’s impressive murals, including Ava Gadner, Brigitte Bardot, Paco de Lucía, Camarón de la Isla, and LGBT+-themed street art located in Pasaje Begoña.

The cameras moved to the beaches of Playamar and Carihuela to show the typical gastronomy of the municipality, with particular emphasis on sardines on a skewer.

The show is set to air later this summer.
