Singapore Tourism Board launches safe itinerary guide for international travelers

Mumbai, Feb 02 (PTI) The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with five Singapore tourism industry associations to launch the Safe Route Guide and ‘Discover Singapore !” Compendium, as the country prepares to welcome international travellers. To this end, the STB has partnered with the National Association of Travel Agents of Singapore (NATAS), the Association of Singapore Attractions (ASA), the Association of Convention Organizers and Suppliers and Singapore Exhibitions (SACEOS), the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) and the Society of Tourist Guides Singapore (STGS), according to a statement.
The Safe Route Guide offers strategies to help tourism businesses better understand their consumers, so they can personalize travel itineraries based on traveler profiles.
“As Singapore prepares to live with COVID-19 and cautiously reopens its borders to more visitors, it is imperative that the tourism industry adopt practices and measures that make Singapore a safe travel destination,” said the regional director of the STB (India, Middle East and South Asia) said GB Srithar.
Additionally, he said that with various health and safety requirements and changes in consumer behavior, STB and its tourism partners have a role to play in helping visitors navigate travel and safety requirements. .
“The ‘Discover Singapore!’ Compendium will be especially helpful to our travel industry partner-friends in India to better understand the available travel deals and present them to their customers when planning their trip to our city,” he added. SM HRS hours
