“Real Housewives of Dubai” gets the green light from Bravo

The real housewives franchise goes international for the first time. On Monday, Bravo announced that it had given the green light to The real housewives of Dubai. So far, it’s unclear what familiar faces might step in to guide this new arm of the series.

In a press release obtained by Hollywood journalist, Bravo said that The real housewives of Dubai will follow a group of women “navigating their supremely lavish and ultra-rich relationships, careers and lifestyle in the UAE”. Some reports suggest that Caroline Stanbury of Bravo’s London ladies may join the series one way or another since she has a home in Dubai. While similar series formats have been used around the world, this is the first time that Bravo itself has taken the Real housewives title outside the United States

“Everything is bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city that has fascinated me for years, with an exceptional group of friends as guides, ”said executive producer Andy Cohen. It is the 11th city that the Real Housewives franchise has explored, and one of the richest as well. Dubai is one of the most popular tourist cities in the world, with the highest number of five-star hotels.

Dubai is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf and is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. It is best known for its tourism and hospitality industry, but it is also a major global transportation hub for freight and passengers. The city grew from a small fishing village in the 1700s to an urban metropolis, largely thanks to the region’s oil revenues.

This leaves many different horizons for rich women to Real housewives franchise. In all likelihood, the show will seek out topics that represent different parts of the lifestyle, including entertainment, tourism, shipping, etc.

In addition to Cohen, The real housewives of Dubai will be produced by Truly Original, along with fellow EPs Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Brandon Panaligan, Glenda Cox and Chelsey Stephens. Bravo is celebrating the announcement by asking fans to help them choose a hashtag to live-tweet the show – either “RHODubai” or “RHODXB”. Other iterations of Real Housewives will also continue into the 2022 TV season.
