Speaking on the occasion, Traole Rai, President of HEAT-M, said that the event was organized to explore the unexplored hills of Manipur through different Eco-Adventure activities and events.
HEAT-M was created to facilitate, promote, protect and preserve the natural tourist avenues given by God in the region. While northeast India is one of the most beautiful and dreamy vacation destinations for many, so are the hills of Manipur, he said.

L Dikho said that public participation and awareness raising is essential to bring development to a region while adding that he has done his best to bring all kinds of changes and development to the region.
There are a number of popular leaders who have worked for the good of all in their personal capacity. Unless people realize the need for change, it is practically difficult to implement and develop, he added.
The minister then urged everyone to raise awareness about nature preservation while highlighting his plans to promote the region’s locally available wild fruits to generate income.
Dr John Sha provided details on tourism which is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses in the world.
He said there is an evolving concept among people to see the natural habitat instead of going to big markets and towns while urging local youth to maintain their originality to attract tourists from other places. .
He also suggested different forms of income-generating professions including tool guides, taxi services, hotel / restaurant, accommodation, promotion of local products, photographers, etc.
Later, site visits to Dziiduri and sapling plantations were carried out.
It can be mentioned that Khumai (Tunggam) Dziiduri is one of the tourist attraction centers of the region. It is located in the village of Khumai (Tunggam) under the Paomata block of Senapati district about 51 km from the district headquarters.
The Khumai (Tunggam) Dziiduri is famous for its natural formation of two long sketches of rocky cliff layers. A magnificent lake has also been built on top of the mountain which makes Dziiduri enchantingly beautiful.
