JERSEY SHORE — Dr. Laura Osenbach will take on the role of deputy superintendent of the Jersey Shore Area School District with a salary of $120,000 after the board voted in favor on Monday.

Effective July 1, Osenbach replaces Dr. Ken Dady, who resigned to serve as superintendent of the Mifflinburg Area School District.

Osenbach has central office experience in the Bradford North East School District, while being contracted through BLaST IU 17 as Curriculum Coordinator and Centers Grants Program Director. 21st century community learning for the district. Osenbach also has previous experience as a classroom teacher.

Jersey Shore’s mission is to “to provide a supportive environment where all members learn, grow and succeed in having a positive impact on the world around them”, said Dr. Brian Ulmer, superintendent.

A native of Williamsport, Osenbach earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Immaculata University; a master’s degree in education from Lock Haven University; and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from York College of Pennsylvania.

Osenbach is also a National Board certified teacher. His contract with the district runs until June 30, 2026.
