A number of fun and educational events are coming to Cobb Senior Centers this week.
Financial health is always of public interest, and seniors are no exception.
The Tim Lee Senior Center in East Cobb will run a basic investment and tax course for people 55 and older.
This three-week training course in basic financial terminology will also cover types of investment diversification, financial advisor valuation, and federal and state tax rules.
The class will be presented by David Bohanon, a Cobb Senior Services volunteer and all three classes will take place on Tuesdays, September 20 through October 4, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
