India has reached the historic milestone of administering one billion (100 crore) COVID vaccinations in one of the largest and fastest-growing vaccination campaigns in the world. To express gratitude to all the frontliners who worked tirelessly during the pandemic and for their self-service to humanity, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ministry of Culture illuminates 100 monuments, including sites in the UNESCO world heritage across the country, in the colors of the National Flag.
